3 Steps to aligning your Motion
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi guys!
In Alignement miniseries #6, we learned what a “straight line” to your success means and heard from Bedros on how to stick to that straight line.
Realistically, no one ever takes the straight line. We meander, lose focus. But that’s ok.
If you examine the flight path of airplanes, you’ll find that on average airplanes spend over 97% of the time pointed somewhere other than directly at their final destination.
Yet planes always make it to their destination.
That’s because even though they are not directly pointed at their destination, at every step there is a component of their vector that is pointed straight at it.
And planes constantly correct their trajectory until at last they are pointed directly at where they want to go.
The point is you don’t have to take perfect action. The plane still gets there without being perfectly straight.
You just have to take action – any action as long as there is a component of it that takes you towards your destination.
Of course the sooner you can correct your course so you’re pointed straight at your success, and the closer you stick to that straight line, the faster you will achieve your desire.
So aligning your Motion means figuring out the actions that will take you along your straight line.
Remember to do things in their proper order. Before doing these Motion-aligning exercises, be sure you have your Intention and Attraction aligned. Go back over the entire miniseries if you need a reminder.
Motion-Aligning Exercise #1:
For 1 day only, from the moment you wake up to the moment you go to bed, set a timer to go off every 15 minutes. Whenever the timer goes off, take your journal and write down what you did for those 15 minutes.
Although you will find yourself getting back on track, this exercise isn’t meant to align you with your Motion, but to point out exactly where you are misaligned. You’ll be surprised how much time you are losing every day to time-wasting activities.
Motion-Aligning Exercise #2:
Learn to manage priorities rather than time.
At the beginning of the day, or during the night before, write down everything you’d like to accomplish for the day. Then rank those tasks in order of priority. Start working on priority #1 and do nothing else until it is done. Then move on to #2, etc.
You may not get through your entire list. But even if that is the case, you will rest easy knowing that you spend your time the best way possible and on the most important items.
Motion-Aligning Exercise #3:
Before doing anything, including the items on your priority list from exercise #2, ask yourself this question: “How does what I’m about to do help get me closer to my Intention or main Burning Desire?”
If the answer is it doesn’t, don’t do it; move on to something else.
Congratulations! Now you know what it means to be aligned and how important it is that each of your Intention, Attraction, and Motion are aligned with your Creation.
You now have some very practical tools in aligning each of them. I can’t wait to hear about your progress towards your Creation!
Don’t forget to let me know how it goes!
