In Visualization Miniseries #10, we briefly introduced states of Being and the idea that visualization helps shift our state.
We all have multiple aspects to our Beingness. There is a piece of us that is brave. A piece that is fearful. A piece that is angry, optimistic, weak, confident, strong, happy…
All of these are states of Being that are contained within us.
Most of us confuse these with feelings. We like to say we feel happy, or confident, or optimistic.
In reality, those feelings are the result of adopting those states of Being.
We don’t want to just FEEL happy. We want to BE happy.
Although the difference can be very subtle, feeling and being are two very different things.

We are all constantly shifting from one state to another, reacting and moving into the state that has been programmed into our unconscious minds based on the situation before us.
Sometimes these states are appropriate for the situation, but others they are not in our highest good.
What if, no matter the situation, you could be in a state of peace? And in a state of gratitude and confidence?
Are there any situations where those would not be helpful states of being? Perhaps, but certainly not many.
One of the greatest powers of visualization is that helps us change our state so that we can choose the one most beneficial to us in the moment.
Even better than that, regular visualization locks in out default state.
That way when we encounter a situation in life that is similar to the one in our visualization, we automatically shift to the state that would be most beneficial to us in the moment, rather than reacting based on emotional memory and programs instilled through parenting and society.
Practice your visualizations every day. You’ll find your Beingness shift. You’ll start to think differently and act differently.
And soon you life will shift closer and closer to your dream reality.
